32 And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of ^aGideon, ^bBarak, ^cSamson, ^dJephthah, of ^eDavid and ^fSamuel and the prophets, 33 who by faith ^gconquered kingdoms, ^hperformed acts of righteousness, ⁱobtained promises, ^jshut the mouths of lions, 34 ^kquenched the power of fire, ^lescaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, ^mbecame mighty in war, ⁿput foreign armies to flight.
